Beautiful weekend snowboarding and skiing with my colleagues@Hintertux. Yesterday we were so lucky with the sunshine and I really happened to have some good runs. -unfortunately I lost my car keys in the second half of the day yesterday. Has anyone found them? Please leave me a message!

Dear friends,
drinking my hot tea before work today, I feel really excited. Fabian and I have an appointment today at 6 which will probably influence our lives for the next years! I could use some fingers crossed from friends and family that everything turns out well, and we have made the right decisions in the last 7 weeks. But the decision to do it, we are pretty sure, since we loved that cute little house from the first day we visited it in january.
It's also a decision for Fabian and Iris, which makes things not less exciting, even if we now know each other so well, after all those years of love-relationship. No need for all those voices saying you should be married by then. It'd be even our seventh housing which we move into together, when I count the Vivaro as one - hehe.
Liebe Verkäufer, auch für euch hoffe ich ist alles gut heute abend, und dass ihr nicht zu traurig seid, dass was wertgeschätzt und geliebt war weiterzugeben. Ich hoffe etwas von der Freude und dem Glück und der Ehrlichkeit dann auch irgendwann weitergeben zu können - und es auch dort zu finden, wie erzählt!

Did you know that in most European countries it's possible to be reelected for more than two terms? So I was 16, when there was a change in government for the first time!
But anyway, Obama has done great things, and people all over Europe and Africa were so excited 4 years ago.
Please don't let everyone be as disappointed as the night when George Bush was reelected.

Ein Spot, der von meiner alten Heimat Bozen eine fast genauso lange Anfahrt hat wie von meiner neuen Heimat Rosenheim -
Es sind zwar 4 Stunden, aber die lohnen für ein Borawochenende. Obwohl in München heit ozapft is, und viele meiner Freunde zur ersten Gelegenheit auf die Wiesn strömen fahre ich ins regnerische Italien. Regnerisch ist noch untertrieben. Schon beim aufbauen bin ich bagnato und eine Kiterin, deren Schirm ich lande sagt: "Die Tropfen tun so weh, wenn man bissl schneller fahrt". Aber das sind zum Glück nur die Fronten, die durchziehen. Der Wind, der aus den Alpen herunterfällt zubbelt mit ganz schöner Kraft an meiner 8er Prima Donna, und lässt mich unverhofft hüpfen. Aber es ist geil mal wieder so angepowert zu sein, dass man einfach hoch springen kann, mit Geschwindigkeit landet und weitersaust, die Kante immer ins Chop-freie Wasser drückt. Das ist wirklich besonders hier, das flache Wasser wird nocheinmal von dem langen Seegras beruhigt, welches auf dem sandigen Untergrund wächst. Unsere Freunde, die zum ersten Mal da sind freuen sich auch über das ungewohnt glatte Wasser, auf dem man so gut Spannung aufbauen kann vorm Sprung. Jippie - das ist kiten!
Ich habe nun zwar nicht mehr so viel Angst vor einer ungewollten Verdrehung oder Landung auf der Seite meiner operierten Schulter, aber ich bleibe mit den eingehängten Sachen auf der sicheren Seite. Das Level aller anderen ist erfreulich, obwohl man ein ganzes Stück über den Strand ins Wasser gehen muss sehe ich keine falsch angeknoteten Leinen, keine durch die Powerzone startenden Kites, und auch niemand, der sich übelst in der Kitegröße vergreift. Im Vergleich zu vor ein paar Jahren wissen nun allerdings einige Slowenen, Italiener und Österreicher, wann es hier windet, und deswegen hier auch die Bitte an alle Leser: don't talk to loud about it, if you're heading there.

Das Wetter wurde dann auch schön, und der Sonntag bescherte uns Sessions mit 6, 8 und 10m kites - Fabi war am Abend davor von dem Segeltrip mit Hardy Brandstötter zu mir gestoßen, und auch Grit und Sten konnten sich so oft abwechseln, dass wir alle einen guten Muskelkater haben :-) Warum ich es noch empfehlen kann? La Pizza italiana - und endlich wieder ein guter cafe!

Nach der erfolgreichen Wiedereinwanderung nach Deutschland - pünktlich zum erneuten Deutschland Viertelfinalssieg über Argentinien - verfolge ich gerade ein sehr spannendes Spiel zwischen Spanien und Paraguay. Südtirol war zwar nicht Österreich, hat aber ORF für ihren deutschsprachigen Bevölkerungsteil. Auf Italienisches Fernsehen kann man ja wirklich auch verzichten. Nun mit RTL abgespeist zu werden macht mich schon traurig, dass München kein ORF1 mehr empfängt. Mal abgesehen davon, dass es ORF sofort geschafft haben einen Vuvuzela Filter einzubauen, muss ich mich nun auch wirklich mal über den Kommentator des privaten Senders beschweren. Wenn ich schon merke ein besseres Regelverständnis als der Profi zu haben, denke ich mein Sportstudium hätte aus mir ja doch noch eine Katrin Müller Hohenstein machen können. Ist es des Weiteren wichtig immer wieder Bezug zu nehmen, auf das kommende Halbfinale gegen Deutschland, und wie "wir" (wer ist wir?) sie chancenlos mit 4:0 dastehen lassen würden? Jedes Spiel ist eine neue Chance und da wär ich mir mal nicht zu sicher, dass Deutschland immer so viele Tore schießen kann. Zur Zeit sieht es ja eher aus wie viele Tore - oder mit Mühe eines.. Sport ist eben auch Glückssache, und es gewinnt nicht immer der Bessere.
Statt dem Schiedsrichter auch immer nur den schwarzen Peter zuzuschieben, würde ich mich mal darauf konzentrieren das zu erklären, was der Zuschauer vielleicht nicht sehen konnte. Man hat ja schon fast den Eindruck RTL hat zwar für Millionen die Rechte erworben, hält es aber nicht für notwendig ausgebildete Journalisten als Kommentator einzustellen. Es scheint als seien sie gar nicht vor Ort? Ein großes Lob an die Öffentlichen in diesem Sinne, mit einem dezenten Hinweis an eine mögliche Orientierung zur Weiterentwicklung. Ein gutes Fußballspiel wird nämlich immer irgendwie gleich bleiben - man könnte ja nur daran arbeiten, dass das Erlebnis für uns Zuschauer irgendwie moderner wird. Für bessere Medien!

day 85 after my Bankart Läsion surgery:
I was watching my favourite sports for almost 3 month now, and since I've been doing my rehab-exercises every day I'm now back in the game. During may I was training to regain some strength, and I was listening to my physio-coach say: "Don't start too early, your shoulder first has to learn how to move correctly." So I held back for another 4 weeks, even if I actually already felt okay. Maybe it was worth it, because while surfing yesterday and kiting today my shoulder felt good!

Friday before work I went to the Eisbach. My board, with the cat-face, is sold to Ingmar and Fabians board has some dings, but he is so nice to give it to me anyway.. I was so excited I couldn't really sleep at night. The morning is rather cold and rainy, you can see the breath of the surfers, while they are paddling back. For this time of the year the water is still very cold. 4 guys on the spot, two of them even wear hoods. Without having to wait I place my board on the water, step on it and push myself into the wave. What a great feeling! Carefully I take my turns, but it is working and I haven't forgotten how to! I'm happy!

I'm very happy to call myself snowkite worldchampion 2010.

Last weekend we were on lake Resia in Italy and I fought against riders from Norway, Germany and Switzerland for the title. And I managed to win the freestyle heats, whereas winning the race was not so hard for me.

Fabian also won the mens competition in race, which was quite exciting, because Hardy Brandstötter and Alex Korb were hard on his heels.
In freestyle he was judging, only for my heats they had someone else, not to have it unfair. Well, I think it was a really nice weekend, it could have been a bit more wind and a bit more snow, but overall I'm very happy. Congratulation to all winners and thumbs up to all riders of the JN Team, I felt it as a big success and good support!

JN never had 2 riders so close to the top as 2009. Currently the last KPWT Stop in Essaouira, Morocco takes place, and Leander Vyvey and Mike Schitzhofer are going for a excellent placement on the overall podium.
This year the KPWT was hosting 8 big events in 4 different continents, and the exciting final will be continued on the next windy day..
So far both JN riders could win their heat and are amongst the best 8 in the single elimination - congratulations!
